In an age where critical reading is often sidelined, how can we reclaim reading as a collective praxis and an act of care? This workshop invites all interested individuals to come together and engage in collective reading of excerpts from Eda Gunaydin's Root and Branch (2022), Leah McIntosh and Adolfo Aranjuez's Against Disappearance (2022), and Cher Tan's Peripathetic (2024). By fostering a shared space for discussion, we aim to transform reading from a solitary activity into a communal practice rooted in deep understanding. Explore how attentive reading can deepen our connections and challenge prevailing narratives.
