Flesh & Form Salon: Writing the Body
An intimate salon examining the relationship between embodiment and writing.
From the physical to the written form, explore how writing might trouble popular conceptions of the body, gesturing towards its dizzying, and perhaps liberatory potentials. Through close reading of philosophy, poetry and fiction, paying particular attention to form and style, discuss writing as something that occurs not only on the page but also in the spaces between (and in) bodies. This session is suitable for all storytellers interested in the body and bodily praxis.
This salon was co-designed by Ellie Fisher and Daniel Ray.
